Colour happy…
Although white kitchens will always be around, now we are all looking to be a little bit more creative, especially with the social room of the home.
Interior designers are experimenting with a range of colours in 2023 with incredible results. Think pinks, aubergines, reds and oranges that can work with any vibe you want to achieve.
Summer is a great time to try bright, warm, colours like these. For those who are brave we look at units and worktops that make a statement as soon as you enter the room. For just a subtle hint, tiles, feature walls and accessories create a wonderful lift to a kitchen, especially against gorgeous dove grey furniture.
These colours are looking to continue into next year and you can make subtle changes to keep your kitchen current and Insta worthy!
Tidy mind..
Open plan kitchens are still popular; however clutter really isn’t – for those of us that are over the phase of seeing everything on display, now is the time for concealing!
There are several storage solutions available that can make a real focal point on kitchen designs for this year. The options are endless, whether you are looking for a smart kitchen, where you can hide all your cooking equipment with the press of a button, or you want the traditional ‘pantry’ style, which can be a fantastic feature… the choice is yours.
Go for Gold…
No matter what style of kitchen, to add class and quality, gold can be the perfect solution. Just a touch of this colour on the handles or for full opulence, add taps, trims and even look at gold hues in worktops and tiles. We love matte or brushed gold as it contrasts against so many different colours and styles, giving us limitless design options.
Marble effect rocks…
The marble effect doesn’t have to just be black and white – designs are now only limited by your own imagination. Whichever colours you choose for your kitchen, natural stole can complement beautifully, and the best thing is that it’s a timeless investment.
Back to Black…
Black is daring for designers and has been experimented with over the last couple of years. Now, for this year, black is being used alongside much softer colours and rather than being used in large spaces, there are more hints of the dark to create feature areas of the kitchen. Black is a stunning contrast and a matte is a wonderful way to have a dark side without becoming overbearing and dated.
Think natural materials and lighter accessories to reduce the drama but maintain the stunning impact.
